We made a detour on the way home from Farmington one year and stopped at the Grand Canyon. We got lucky and managed to get a hotel room right on the edge of the canyon! Beautiful sunrise!

Yup, Roy grew up there and has family there. We go and visit often and try not to miss the 4th of July Extravaganza they have there - it's crazy, I've never seen so many fireworks in such a small town. 
Lady, are you or your hubby from Farmington? My dad grew up in Farmington and we used to go back and visit as a kid.
