What Makes You Smile?

An angel sent me "The Book of Awesome". It's full of funny little things that are awesome and therefor make us smile. Things like:
- Popping Bubble Wrap
- The Other Side of the Pillow
- The smell of rain on a hot sidewalk
- Hitting a bunch of green lights in a row
There are 390 pages of awesome in the book. I recommend everyone have a copy nearby when they need a quick smile or grin. 
But it got me thinking... while these are in fact awesome little things in life that make you smile, they are not personal things. So now I'm wondering....
What makes you smile?

SweetPea's little butt wiggling so hard when she sees me walk in the door!
Opening a credit card statement and under payment due it says "0". I grin from ear to ear. Also answering my phone and finding my granddaughter Autumn is calling her YaYa.
Quietly sneaking out of bed, covering my husband's shoulders in hopes that he will stay there for at least one quiet cup of coffee, then he whispers..."Don't forget to cover my ears". That has made me smile for years now.. Hot Toddy is so cute.
My four year old Irish Setter, Savannah, is the eternal puppy. I love to watch her swimming and splashing around in the lake. It is particularly fun to watch her when she is accompanied by her favorite puppy pal, Tessa (a 4 year old Springer Spaniel) or Skooter (a 3 year old Westie).
When my bassett hound hits the cabinet with his paw knowing his treats are in there.

Thinking about my husband, Roger, my son, Richard and my daughter, Chriistina. I am a very lucky person.
When I cansleep throught the night and not have to get up to go to the bathroom
When I hear an old favorite song, it makes me smile.
I remember my life through music and songs and "memories, light the corners of my mind. . . scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind. . . and it's the laughter, I choose to remember. . ."

What makes me smile? Reading that The Book of Awesome makes YOU smile!
My "family time" at night with my two cats. Call me the crazy single cat lady, but those two little darlings always know when I need some company and have helped me through some rough patches.
