Bucket List - Mediterranean Cruise - Check!

We are home from our Great Adventure - a 12 day cruise through the Mediterranean. We loved every minute of it and neither of us were ready to leave paradise to come back to our reality. But it was time to come home. Roy went back to work today to catch up on the past two weeks that we've been away. I had my second round of Doxil chemo treatment today. Talking about reality.. We were thrown right back into it. At least we have fantastic memories of this great adventure that will keep us...

Bucket List - Dave Matthews - Check

I had a fantastic bucket list weekend with friends! I must admit that I am now completely exhausted and dreading facing the reality of everything to come these next few weeks but I have some great memories from the weekend to keep my spirits high.

The flight to DC was probably good for me - it kept me sitting and rested for 4.5hrs. Although I realized as I was boarding the plane that I was basically ripping away my safety net by traveling so far from all my doctors. I te...

I am excited to write about my amazing weekend. First ,I once again, am over-the-top grateful for my angels out there. Last weekend I met 5 girlfriends in Sonoma California. I've been planning this one for a while, coordinating calendars, and planning a Girl's Weekend Getaway in Sonoma. We were traveling in from Montana, San Francisco, Sacramento, and Phoenix and all met up at Cline Cellar's in Sonoma. Thanks to my angels and the Cline family for gifting me 2 nights in the villa located ...

We just got back from an over-the-top fantastic trip to New York City! I am so grateful to a few angels that helped make this trip happen. I couldn't have done it without you all. Thank you doesn't begin to express my gratitude.

I've been to NYC quite a few times. This was the go-to spot for me and mom when we would take trips together when we lived on the East Coast. We would go shopping, go to Broadway, having amazing meals and just enjoy the city. I have many fond ...

Roy and I just got back from yet another amazing trip… Hawaii! Honestly I can't go there enough, I love it! We went to Maui and met some friends there and stayed for 6 days. This was our second trip to Maui but there was still so much to see and do… and I had two bucket list items to check off!

Let me tell you about the trip first. There's nothing better than sitting on the beach, listening to the sounds of the waves, smelling the sea air, and having a fro...

I can’t believe how long it’s been since my last post… my how time flies when you are having fun! :) And fun doesn’t even begin to describe the adventure around the Ellen Show. When I put this on my bucket list I never imagined it would become so much more than just going to the show. Two of my dearest friends pulled together one of the best girl’s trips I’ve ever had!

We all flew into LA on Wednesday, January 30th. They had a much longer flight...

Bucket List - Catch a Fish - half-check :)

Today was a great day! One of the items on my list is to “Catch a fish (then let it go)”… this is one of those things that I honestly have never done before but I feel like everyone should at some point? A couple of my dear friends decided to arrange a guided fishing boat excursion for me. We’ve had this in the works for a couple of weeks now and I’ve really been looking forward to it!

Roy and I had to wake up just after 5:00am to get to our frien...

Bucket List - Glassblowing - Check!

Last night I brought my other dad Dean with me to a Glassblowing Class. Holy cow, this was a cool experience. I've always loved art and worked in various mediums. I admire glass art but never thought about trying to make it myself. Then Roy and I went to Italy with some friends and we took a boat over to Murano. This was so beautiful, I recommend this side trip to anyone that visits Venice. We took a tour of the Murano Glass Studio. They took us to the work room where they are creating...

Here it is… 2013! I’m calling this “The Year of Adventure”! There is a lot of fun to be done this year for sure. And I’m excited to say that I have already crossed another item off my bucket list. Huge thanks go out to a group of angels who helped make this one happen!

Roy and I went to Las Vegas to celebrate the New Year. We met my dad and his wife Marjorie in Vegas. She also had her niece and nephew in from Brazil for the trip. Roy and I stayed at Caesars...

Bucket List - NFL Sidelines - check!

I am so excited to cross the first item off my bucket list! This past Sunday Roy and I went to the Cardinals vs Rams game and we were able to stand on the sidelines during warm up and pregame practice. Thanks to an amazing angel out there I was able to achieve my first check on my list.

This was as cool as I thought it would be! The stadium looks huge from the field perspective. There were a group of us there including quite a few kids. The players were extremely nice and came over to ...
